Why SEND Protect was created
SEND Protect was born from a very personal understanding of what it means to parent a child with additional needs. Cara Roughani, mother to Jayden who has autism, experienced the lack of support for her and Jayden’s special needs.
With more than two decades of experience in finance and wealth management, she experienced what little support existed to help SEND families manage the additional financial challenges they face: from balancing benefits, savings, and long-term protection, to worrying about what will happen when parents are no longer able to provide. And she created SEND Protect to turn that worry into a roadmap and a plan.
